Disclaimer: The flavor profiles and ratings provided are general guidelines based on typical characteristics of each durian variety. As durians are natural fruits, taste and texture may vary from fruit to fruit.

Also known as Bamboo Durian or some call it the Musang Queen, Tekka (D160) is revered for its multi-layered taste, combining bitterness, sweetness, and a slight earthiness. The flesh is darker yellow, thick, and slightly fibrous — not as smooth as Musang King. Grown mainly in Johor and Pahang, it's not as widely available but has a strong cult following for its bold flavor complexity.
